Hi Folks,
My first time on the website and I’d love to hear from all my old long lost friends, coworkers! I’m spearheading a project to transfer Air Force Now films from 16mm to DVD disk. Please let me know if you’d like to order a copy. The more orders, the better the DVD price.
So far I have copied the first Air Force Now which was called “The Now Scene.”
I also copied “Air Force Now 4” which contained the extremely moving piece “Give A Damn” featuring AF personnel painting homes in Macon Georgia accompanied by how this made them feel good about “giving a damn about your fellow man” from the song used from Spanky and Our Gang.
Here is a breakdown on content of The Now Scene and AFN4 which have been transferred, and AFN58 which has not.

Jake Shuffert illustrates the introduction and bridges between segments on how the AF Personnel System works, including “state of the art” gigantic computers with the good old 20 pound tapes on the personnel machines which filled a very large room. Tim White narrates much of the content.
I will make some or all of the following videos. Please let me know if you are interested. A DVD will run anywhere from as little as $15 if enough people order a DVD. Once I hear from you I’ll set the price and let you know what the charge will be, payable by a personal check would be fine.
If anyone made copies of the old Air Force Now and other significant films of the past please let me know and we’ll see about getting those distributed.
