We received this email today and would like to put it out there for any of our members who would be willing to offer advice:
Good evening, USAF Combat Camera group organizers,
I’m a long-time photojournalist (with also a career in public relations) and am ready to join and build a long-term career with the USAF as an active-duty or Reserve still photographer (3VOX2?). It has been difficult to get information on which bases have photographers and which Reserve units need photographers (ie, with which recruiters should I work as most want to sell me on the specific roles they aim to fill), and I hoped you might be able to provide guidance and answer questions.
Might we speak or email this week, with the hope that you may help me?
