To: Board members and Phil Stewart…I enjoyed watching the “USAF Combat Photography: Southeast Asia” film from 1968, per the link on the website. I remember watching this film at the Officers Club at Orlando AFB, that year. I was with the 1365th for a while, then AAVS. I clearly remember several of the folks in the film: Col Barksdale, Col Beoring, Hal Albert, and others. Also- producer- Major Landau at Lookout Mountain, CA. Brought back many memories! Also served at AAVS Norton, then Commander Det 7- DaNang 7/69-7/70, and Wright Patterson 70-71, Separated in 1971.
I hope to make it to this year’s reunion in San Diego.
Thanks again for putting this film on the USAFCombat Camera website!
