It is with heavy heart to share that Bill passed quietly in his sleep last night. Though Milo and I will miss him everyday, we are at peace that he is no longer in pain. The last several days of visits and the beautiful Facebook messages from all of you sharing your memories of Bill have made this time a beautiful celebration of the warm, loving and devoted man that he was. I will post details shortly regarding his Service of Remembrance. Peace to all of you. – from Bill’s wife Gayle Russi Stephenson
Bill was a graduate of the Syracuse Military Journalism program’s Class of 1977.
Update!
Friends and family,
Milo and I are beyond grateful and very humbled by the genuine outpouring of love, support and beautiful memories shared today about Bill. Bill was a modest man and never one to toot his own horn, but I hope somehow he knows now, the unique imprint he left and just how many people he touched by simply being who he was.
I wanted to share the details for the Remembrance and Celebration of Bills life and welcome any and all of you who would like to attend.
