Tim served with us in the states and Vietnam.
I knew Tim Monk when he was working with the 601st Photo Flight, Det. 9 at Udorn RTAFB, Thailand in 1969. I was a photographer for 7/13th AF at the time and would use their darkroom to process my assignments. Tim was a professional in his job and I often listened to his descriptions of the missions he flew on documenting the rescue of downed airmen in Laos and Vietnam.
It was my good pleasure to know him.
My deepest condolences.
