The 4th Combat Camera Squadron (now based in Charleston SC) will be coming out to Hollywood on Aug 3rd and 4th for a Combat Camera Heritage tour (learning their origins). While they have a pretty impressive agenda (touring Warner Brothers – dedication at a combat camera plaque / Hal Roach studios etc….) one of the events in an alumni dinner on the evening of Saturday August 3rd at the American Legion (post 43) Hollywood. 4th Combat Camera plank holder – Dennis Kee is the current Commander and we are putting together a alumni reunion dinner. We would love to welcome you all – to see the current 4th Combat Camera Squadron Members as well as past old alumni (like myself) – Please let me know and I can send an evite – Randy.Hopp@gmail.com. Where will the next Reunion be and when? If it’s on the east coast or east of Mississppi I maybe able to come. I was assigned to 600 photo Sq 1969. Many memories don’t know if any of my old friends are still with us. I was at primarily TSN Lab and then Com Doc.
I was USAF from Jan 66-Jan 70 (Ssgt.)
It hasn’t been formally decided as of yet, but we have a Zoom meeting this week and perhaps something will be decided then. It will be announced here on our website and also on our Facebook page so keep an eye out for the announcement.
Now that travel is feasible, I am seriously considering coming to the mini reunion. Will there be any other activities outside of the hotel and the dinner?
